Lovely piece of lighting. One HUGE flaw. from Bowie, MD on 06/16/2011 – Verified Buyer
The lamp is beautiful. I will likely buy another in another color. The only HUGE problem was that during assembly, I understood the instructions to say place the end supports WITHIN the lamp ends. This resulted in my tearing the lamp along its seams a bit. I nearly returned it, but if I position it correctly, the tears don't show. Otherwise, I am very happy with the lamp.

Floor lamp from Prescott Valley, AZ on 02/11/2015 – Verified Buyer
This lamp produces a lovely glow when lit, however it looks rather inexpensive when turned off. The shade itself is made of paper and looks like paper. My least favorite part of it is the white plastic rim at the top and bottom of the lamp. I love the curvy lines, but I would probably not purchase again. As other reviewers have mentioned.....it is overpriced for the quality.

Beautiful ligthed sculptures from Arvada, CO on 02/16/2010 – Verified Buyer
We have the lamps in red and stone. We really like the red "glow" but it's a matter of personal preference. If you are looking for reading lamps, these lamps do not provide enough light for reading. But for ambiance and decoration, they are top-notched. We have received many compliments on them. The shade is made from corrugated cardboard and very fragile. Our lamps were slightly "dented" in some spots [...]

Cheap looking from Fredericton, NB on 06/30/2013 – Verified Buyer
It's made out of cardboard, looks cheap. too expensive for what it is. Would not recommend, other for a playroom.

Eye candy, a de-light! from NY, NYC on 03/10/2008
this is a really beautifully designed piece. i got the 'old gold' or orange color, a delight really. soft and moody glow is perfect for additional ambient lighting w/ a flourish of colour and sculptural art eye candy as well, v. nice Roland! it looked a bit cheap to me b4 i put it togther, fragile would be more acurate since it looks like a million bucks once assembled. i placed it just off to the side slightly from a window on top of a large dresser and have had no prblem with it blowing over despite that it is a kind of drafty area. Besides being functional lighting it offers an air of elegance which works well w/ my 'upscale urban nomad style-maven' themed Soho Studio.
