This is a fantastic tool for chopping. Extremely happy. How did I live without it for so long?

Great kitchen gadget from Boston MA on 11/05/2010
I recently received this 10-in mezzaluna and am completely pleased with it. I cook authentic Italian food on an almost daily basis and the utensil is very handy for making the base of sauces, soups and risotto. It is also pleasant and safe to use (practically impossible to cut yourself, as the blade is not near your fingers), as opposed to a chef's knife or food processor. The relative weight and size make chopping faster and more efficient than with my previous, smaller mezzaluna. I put mine in the dishwasher, as it has plastic handles rather than wood handles. Recommended. My product was received as a review item for a post on my blog.
