Good value from Houston, TX on 05/14/2015 – Verified Buyer
As most of the other reviews declared, the drilled holes do not appear to line up correctly when putting together and they don't exactly but you really can make it work. It took 2 of us to put it together because you have to line up best you can on one side and we had to stretch the material (with scissor end) to fit screws to hole while it looks like you will never get the other side lined up, it is possible and you don't have to tear the material. It takes the 2nd person to push their weight into chair and hold in steady to get screw in properly. My office mate said his trigonometry came in handy to put this together. It only took about 20 minutes to screw together once we figured it out and the seat part just fits into place securely.
Otherwise, really good quality and value I think for the price. Good looking, sturdy and comfortable chair in our reception area. I just ordered another one. 4 stars for the initial 'Oh no, what were they thinking' feeling.

Pros: great value, comfortable, good quality
Cons: tricky figuring out how to get together

Almost divorced over putting this together from Hollister, CA on 09/11/2014 – Verified Buyer
Love the chair, love the look, fits nicely in the guest bedroom, but it almost caused a divorce while putting it together. The holes in the leather didn't match up to the holes in the wood. We had to wrestle the screws in.

Great price & good looking chairs from Allen, TX on 06/18/2015 – Verified Buyer
A little challenging to assemble at first but we figured them out. I got two of these and they look sharp and are comfortable. My only issue is the "leather" finish seems to be easily marred.

Pros: Nice looking and modern. Comfortable and sleek.
Cons: "leather" finish rubs off easily.

Attractive chairs are strong and comfortable from Manchester, CT on 12/17/2014
I bought a pair of Spyder lounge chairs. I love the style and shape of these chairs. The cushions are quite firm, but comfortable. The frames are very sturdy and well made, although they look light and fragile. The seat and back cushions have to be screwed to the metal frame. That is relatively easy for the seat which uses pointed wood screws that go in easily. The back is held in place with blunt end machine screws that must be threaded into metal parts inside the cushion. It is a bit tricky getting all 4 screws lined up and started into their holes. They supply a small Allen wrench (hex key), but it will be much easier with an electric screw driver and the proper size hex wrench. I love them.

Love Hate Relationship from NC on 07/02/2015 – Verified Buyer
I love this chair. It's chic, and simple. I thought it would be a little bigger but its fine. When you open the box, you see three pieces (seat, back, and frame) and 8 screws and think oh this will be a breeze and should only take 5 minutes to assemble. Here is where the hate comes in...The seat attaches super easy, the back took an hour and lots of four letter words to line up the holes on the back. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I almost put it back in the box and shipped it back. It took me and my husband to hold and shift it around a lot to line up the holes.

Pros: great color, great style
Cons: Assembly is challenging!!!! Fix the holes guys!!!!

Satisfied with the spyder chair from Lawndale, CA on 03/02/2015
I bought two of these chairs in grey. They looked slightly darker than on the pictures, but looked good and are very comfortable. Seems sturdy too. After having read the reviews about the challenging put together process, my husband and I was prepared. The hardest part was to put the back piece on and align them with the preset holes. For the seating piece we did not use the preset holes plus one of the seating did not have any holes at all. So that's how we put the chair together. We are very happy with the purchase.

Beautiful and Sturdy from Sandy, UT on 01/07/2016 – Verified Buyer
Design and color are exactly as shown. Appears very utilitarian but the chair is actually very comfortable, and the unique look makes it a great conversation piece. Men like sitting in it because of the wide design and easy in/out.

Pros: Leather is good quality, legs are well constructed. Comfortable, elegant, sturdy.
Cons: VERY difficult to put together. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. It took two men and power tools to engage the screws in the back. Have help when it arrives.

Beautiful! Comfy! from baton rouge, LA on 10/07/2014 – Verified Buyer
Beautiful and very comfortable...buuuut just as many others have noted, they are extremely hard to put together. The holes are not lined up perfectly and I believe the screws should be a bit longer. After an hour or two of wrestling with them I was finally able to force the screws in. Have only had chairs for one day so I hope they hold up because they are extremely beautiful and has a high end look/finish/touch to them.

Awesome Chair from Kingsland, TX on 10/20/2014 – Verified Buyer
I love the chairs using them in a small guest bedroom. Fit perfectly with decor and gives the room a more spacious look, because of chair design that flows. Although, the chairs were hard to assemble which I had read on some of the reviews, but took a chance because I loved the chairs. My husband and I are pretty good at assembling things, but this was a challenge due to screws not lining up straight. I could suggest some modification be made for easier assembly. Again chairs are beautiful, heavy and quality.
