A Big Little Work Horse! from Marion, IL on 09/19/2014 – Verified Buyer
I am in the process of changing my kitchen over to all organic...from cookware, seasonings, utensils, to food. Buying organic food, for me due to living out in the country, means buying in bulk. Buying in bulk means storing some of the veggies and fruits so they don't go bad before consuming them. This means I need help so I'm not standing in the kitchen chopping for 3-5 hours! I went shopping for a food chopper. I never buy anything at first sight. When I see something I want, I do my homework first, which was the case with this little chopper. The first day it arrived, it was right to work. I washed it in hot soapy water, except the electrical base, of course, then we were off. This little thing stayed right with me cutting, chopping, pureeing several pounds of veggies and fruit, without any complaint. She wears her fruits and veggies very well; cauliflower looks especially nice against her red skirt! She cleans up very easily, no fuss, no muss. Cord storage in the bottom, it just wraps around inside a well held in place by little teeth. The cup size is generous, and even filled to capacity, she chopped, and pureed like a full size food processor. One thing, when you put this little jewel together, and you'll see what I mean, make sure that the black handle matches up with the two little black teeth on the base. If not, even though you have everything seemingly snapped into place, she won't work because those black teeth on the base are her power points. So be sure all black parts are aligned; then you're good to go. She won't disappoint, and she'll keep right up with your best effort to trip her up. She's a big little work horse indeed!!

Great little chopper! from Tonawanda, NY on 11/28/2015 – Verified Buyer
I have only chopped with it so far. It's doing fine. Turn it clockwise to unlock cup from base & lid from cup. Blade locks in by pushing down, it won't fall out. I put it through the dishwasher upside down because the blade didn't come out easy like my older chopper. You have to pull up to release the blade. Everything must be lined up properly to work, then you pulse the chop or puree button. The cord coils around some knobs, under the base.

Love the size from Amarillo, TX on 07/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
I love the size but just can't get the hang of taking the container off. It chops great. I had the same problem with my last one which was a cheaper brand. I guess they just have to put all those safety features on them now. It just hard for me to unscrew it and take it off.

The little KitchenAid food chopper does an excellent job of chopping and not destroying the vegetables. I am really glad I bought it.

Super Chopper! from Belleair Beach, FL on 08/15/2014 – Verified Buyer
Love my new chopper. Bought to replace a small cheap chopper that could not chop varied nuts.
This little beauty can handle almonds and walnuts beautifully.
It is easy to clean and has a good capacity.
Love it!!

Like it better than my cuisinart from Bryan, TX on 12/05/2014 – Verified Buyer
I bought this for our second home in the city - and ordered it to try because of the good reviews and the
fact that my Cuisinart small food processor/chopper seemed flimsy to me that I have at our home. I like
this much better - more solid, easier to use, and a slightly bigger capacity.
