Gorgeous Piece of Junk from Concord, CA on 04/15/2012 – Verified Buyer
First of all, I agree with the review regarding difficulty of changing the bulb. The bulb blew out after about 2 months of infrequent use. I purchased replacement lights and then attempted to change the bulb. The tool included was simply incapable of doing the job. I ended up taking the bulb out with a pair of needle-nose pliers - they actually fit in fairly easily and there was enough room to grasp only the metal part of the bulb as per the instructions. Replacement wasn't horribly difficult though it took some maneuvering. Turns out the lamp itself was dead. Too bad such a lovely lamp is so very poorly made.

I got these lights as my bedside reading lights and they work great. I have had them for only six months so haven't had to change the lamps yet but they came with special tweezers to use for bulb replacement!

I love my account manager Katy Richards! from Palm Springs, CA on 06/02/2015 – Verified Buyer
This swing arm wall sconce was a replacement for one of two pair I had purchased for a client a few months back. Because the house was under construction when I purchased the items, they weren't installed for a couple months. When a problem arose with one of the lights - kept throwing out the bedroom circuit off - Katy Richards leapt to help me rectify the problem. She immediately sent a new wall lamp to me immediately. That type of customer service is invaluable when purchasing items online. Kudos to Katy.

It's OK, but needs more angling options from Boston, MA on 07/07/2014 – Verified Buyer– Top 500 Reviewer
This light is fine but it's fixed in plane. We used them as reading lights for bed and they're really not so great. It works fine and it looks great, it's just not the right solution for us.

What a beauty.....what a disappointment.. where's the parts? from Port Orchard WA on 09/12/2012
I read all the comments and agree to all that includes bulb replacement and removal, great design. I'm not an electrician
where to get the parts is my question after seeing the back of the lamp and knowing the bulb isn't the problem.

Beautiful design, light where you want it from St Eugene, ON on 07/15/2012 – Verified Buyer
With it's design you can have the perfect lighting at your bedside at the right angle and then put it away where it is completely out of the way.

Exactly as pictured from Midland, MI on 01/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
Easy to i nstall. My husband has a thing about white light, so he changed the light bulbs. Took about one minute as opposed to comments as to how long it takes to change the lights - goodness. Hard to find contemporary lighting like this that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Great Value

Decent Lights... Design Needs Refinement from Newport Beach, CA on 03/13/2008 – Verified Buyer
I am a designer of sorts myself including furniture and houses. I bought these lamps because I wanted something that could fold flat to the wall and out of the way. Well, these fold almost flat.... The arm of the lamp should have been shorter on the top bar or longer on the bottom...but because they made both of the arms the same length, when you fold it back, the lamp hits itself instead of resting flat to the wall.

The lights produce a really clear white light but might have been better with some sort of cover that would hide the actual bulb and diffuse the glare of the light just a little, making it more comfortable to read under.

Lastly, I think a result of poor manufacturing, the light bar (where the bulb sits) doesn't angle perfectly horizontal. It has a slight cant downward on its end.

This lamp is meant to be perfectly horizontal and fold back nicely on itself...otherwise it wouldn't have such a sharp and simple shape.

So, while I still like the lamps I would have preferred some better follow through by the designer.

Also, while I'd recommend these lamps to a friend I'd make sure they know my dislikes listed above.
