IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE, PLEASE READ !! from Heart of Iowa on 01/19/2011
If you own this grinder - please take the time to read through this! AS WITH THE PERSON BELOW, we unscrewed it and found that MOST of the PLASTIC HAD BEEN GROUND UP AND WE HAD BEEN DRINKING IT!!!!! NOT KIDDING. We loved this grinder. It (we thought) served us well for a year. It started acting strange when it would grind. It still would grind the beans, but would stop too soon. You need to unscrew the main thing and look at that plastic collar. (The person below saw that theirs had cracked.) Ours was completely CHEWED UP! AND IT WAS GROUND UP IN OUR COFFEE - WHICH WE HAD BEEN DRINKING FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG!!??! We found the tiny ground black plastic pieces in with the coffee. (That was unsettling.) You can see them when you hold the ground coffee under lighting. They "shine" compared to the coffee. Now we are shopping for a new one and it won't be Cuisinart. And it's too bad because we really liked this one and we like the brand. Don't buy one - and IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE, PLEASE UNSCREW AND CHECK THE "COLLAR".

This is my second one and it is a great grinder but it has one flaw. the grinders can clog up the shut to the cup that catches the grinds and there is no way to stop the grinder except to unplug it. Then you have to pick up the grinder and unplug the opening with a tooth pick or needle. I do like the other features of the grinder. It will grind a large amount of coffee beans at once. You can set the grinder to the size of the grind of the beans and also the amount of beans you want to grind. I had my first one for 3 1/2 years and wished it lasted longer.

Does its job, a bit loud from St. Thomas, VI on 03/02/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is a great little coffee grinder. The adjustable setting is a really nice feature so that you can control the coarseness/fineness of your grounds. The only con is that it's pretty loud when operating. Luckily you don't have to have it on for long. It looks attractive sitting on my countertop.

Excellent product. Exactly as described. from Walla Walla, WA on 12/29/2014 – Verified Buyer
This grinder can stored up to a 1 half pound of coffee beans in the the top part and enough to brew up to 32 cups of coffee in the lower part after it is ground. It has 18 grind settings which allows you to get the perfect grind. It also has a 4-18 cup settings to grind the amount of coffee you want. Just set the desired grind, the amount of coffee you want to grind and press the start button. It is well built and has plenty of power.

Sexy Coffee Grinder from Cincinnati, OH on 03/26/2015 – Verified Buyer
I love this coffee grinder. It holds enough whole beans for a weeks worth of coffee and it looks good on the counter. The reviews I read said it was loud and it is, but it's grinding beans, what do you expect. I would recommend.

Nice grinder from seattle, WA on 12/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
It's a bit large on the counter but the trade off is it holds a lot of beans. It is less noisy than the one we replaced. Had lots of static electricity on the first use but wiped it down with a dryer cloth and static hasn't been a problem since.

Excellent Burr Grinder! from Minneapolis, MN on 07/18/2011 – Verified Buyer
For the money, I don't think you can beat this burr grinder. It's at least half the price of any other burr grinder on the market, does an excellent job and is very easy to use. Hardcore coffee drinkers may find flaws compared to other grinders 2-3X the price, but it definitely beats a simple blade grinder. Once you set up the amount of coffee and the type of grind you want, all you have to do is press the button, wait for it to grind and dump the coffee into your filter. Blade grinders require you to measure the beans, hold the button and count, tap out the coffee and even release the packed grounds from the bottom of the grinder. This saves a nice bit of time and mess in the morning. The only complaint I would have about this grinder is that it is pretty loud, but I don't know how it compares to more expensive grinders. I'll deal with the noise to save the time and mess. Plus the grinder looks very nice.

Great product, it lookst better in person than in the photos - it is pretty sexy for an appliance from Tulsa, OK on 12/19/2014 – Verified Buyer
It works better than I expected for the price. The dial'a-grind is great. You can grind for French press, drip, or espresso with the same machine. I like the lid on the grounds container so it doesn't shoot out everywhere when you remove the cup.
