This bed is everything we wanted and absolutely beautiful! The material is gorgeous in person and the bed is great quality. It was easy for my husband to put together. My daughter is almost 2, and although the bed is recommended for 3, she’s doing amazing with the transition. It’s an added bonus that you don’t have to buy a new mattress or sheets if you’re switching from a regular sized crib! The only complaint I have is that the bed frame makes my daughter’s mattress very firm, even with a mattress pad. That’s not enough to keep me from loving it though! I’m gonna give this bed 4 stars based on the fact that it’s reasonably priced, it goes together in like 10 minutes, and it looks nice, clean and simple. HOWEVER, the bed isn’t perfect. The side rails don’t line up perfectly at the footboard (at least on mine), it came with a couple small blemishes in the paint, and a chip. AND while I like what they did with the slats here by adding Velcro, I actually added some 1/4” mdf that I had on top of the slats because they are not very strong and I was worried about that. ALSO, my king mattress sticks out over the sides of the bed by about an inch on each side. So it seems the bed is about 2” too narrow.
