Love this mid century floor lamp! from Grafton, OH on 02/05/2015
This is a great floor lamp but it's not perfect! It was easy to assemble and looks fab in my living room and house which is midcentury! I haven't had issues with finials falling off like others have. My biggest issue is the light switch falling off! I wish the company used the same switch from their double Draper table lamp! The light switch now doesn't fall off since I super glued it! Other down side is that the lights all come on unlike the table lamp which allows you to turn one on or both on. This floor lamp is the all or nothing! Regardless, it's a great piece for my house. It does work properly and gets the job done. If the company did some slight revamping to the light switch and the connections where you can position the shades, this would be perfect!

Lounge style from concord, CA on 10/31/2015 – Verified Buyer
A neighbor saw this in my MCM tv room and thought I intended to create a lounge. The lamp is true to pictures and the faux wood handles aren't bad.. The base is very sturdy. The instructions say no higher than 60 watt bulbs, but I found it too bright with halogen soft whites. The shades do get very warm. My only negative comment is advertised as 68" but that's if the top shade is totally straight up and down. The base to top of pole is only 65 3/4". Luckily the base is somewhat hidden so I can place a riser underneath. Pros: Style, $ Cons: Shorter than expected

Very cool retro looking lamp! from Van Nuys, CA on 08/11/2015 – Verified Buyer
Very glad I bought this lamp. It works perfectly in a sort of retro bar I'm putting together at my place. The look of it is awesome. Must not be a surprise it's called a Draper lamp (named after Don Draper from Mad Men?) because it looks like something out of Mad Men for sure! A simple but cool design. Pros: Easy assembly, great look, sure to get some attention from your guests Cons: The switch seems a bit delicate so handle carefully. The three bulbs come on/off at the same time. You can't operate them individually.

Real Nice if Mid Century Modern is your Bag from United States on 02/11/2014 – Verified Buyer
Lovely piece in a nice matte black finish. The wood finials are the perfect touch. My only gripes are that the finials are loose and always are falling off. Easy fix with some glue. Another issue is you can't aim them exactly where you want as the articulation is not 360 degrees. Minor gripe is the main shaft is three pieces for cheap shipping. At this price you can't expect much. When it's put together it's fine. Lastly, a nice touch is that each lamp can be controlled separately with it's own switch. Just twist the wood finial and try not to pull it off the lamp, heh.

OK, but... from Chicago on 09/21/2014 – Verified Buyer
The light is OK but I would not buy it again. When I read the reviews some people said the lights worked individually so I took a chance. But, as others said, they really do not -- and a new label pasted over an old label makes me think that this was a change at some point in its production history. Moreover the single switch that turns on all three lights is very iffy -- one has to snap on the tip of the switch to the part that emanates from the pole itself but it is not very secure and we super-glued it in place. I guess I would have been happier with it if I had paid less but, in the end, it provided the light we needed so we chose not to return it. (It's packaging, btw, was a nightmare to deal with -- styrofoam everywhere...)

Can't turn lights on/off individually from San Diego, CA on 07/13/2014 – Verified Buyer
I'm disappointed. It looks good, but the design of it implies that you can turn each lamp on and off individually. Those little wood handles look like they are attached to switches. But in reality they are just there for decoration. They don't do anything. there is only one on/off switch on the pole that controls them all at once. And it isn't even a dimmer switch. And the switch feels really flimsy like it it might break soon. The reason I bought a tree lamp is that I want to decide how much light I need at any given time and only turn on what I want. So this lamp doesn't do what I wanted at all. Anyone want a lightly used Draper lamp?

Draper floor lamp from Indiana on 10/01/2014 – Verified Buyer
I really like mid century modern styling, and this lamp certainly fits the bill. The lamp arrived knocked down ready to assemble, and was quite easy to put together. I like the styling, especially the the wood look finials on the end of each shade. Pros: Great styling, high quality, ease of assembly and value priced! Cons: none that I've found!

Great Design and so retro from Palm Springs, CA on 12/16/2014
Pro:Nice clean design and looks just like the onscreen pic. Substantially built as well. Con: Wish they would use something besides styrofoam to pack their products in-this s**t is a scourge on the planet!

Mid Century Classic from New York, NY on 04/13/2014 – Verified Buyer
Product looks great and the build quality is good. It gets a four-star review as I wish the shades will a bit longer - the front of the bulb is visible which creates too bright and harsh a look. I've got them all pointed down or toward a wall to minimize, but it isn't my optimal placement.

Looks sharp, but disappointing quality from Los Angeles, CA on 02/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
The styling of the lamp shades is cool, and fits nicely into a contemporary / neo-mid-century style. But the paint is not consistently applied to the shades, with some spotting. There is a single on/off dial that is incredibly cheaply made. The dial falls off easily, and barely sits on the switch mechanism. Other products in this line supposedly have individual on/off controls on the wood tips on each shade, but this unit doesn't. It's a single master control for all three lamps. Bottom line: It's fine, but the cheap components mean the quality is disappointing.
