The bed is very pretty but we are sad that the white stripe one sees in the pic isn’t there. It just depends on the wood and where the white ends up. Ours only has a small spot of white. The bed is absolutely beautiful and the assembly was easy enough. Unfortunately, when the boxes arrived, the bag containing all the hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, etc,) was not sealed and the pieces were loose in the box. Luckily we did not see any damage to the wood due to hardware scratching it in transit. However, when the box was opened the hardware piece's rolled out everywhere.
