These are not inexpensive, but I like the subtle pop of color. I’d call the red more a cranberry than raspberry, but I actually like the color better than I would if it were more purple. Im obsessed with this brand. Beautiful color choices, with cute speckles and very durable product. One time in shipment something broke and before I got it they sent the replacement. I am really happy with this set of ceramic plates! There are 4 plates total in the set. They feel to be of really good quality and are well made. They are mostly matte with a slight sheen to them. I would describe the color as a faded terra cotta and it is beautiful. They serve well and stack well. Food looks really nice on them. They are very easy to hold and clean. They’re almost exactly as advertised. The plates are described to have a matte finish but they really have a have a pearly shine finish. I am a bit disappointed this is not the look I was going for but I looked for so long, finally piled the trigger on these that I don’t feel like returning and finding others.
