No, I would not recommend this to a friend

save your money! this rocker although cute, is very uncomfortable! the back isn't even tall enough to rest your head on, it barely rocks, and is totally stiff. if you're buying the rocker for decoration then it's fine, that's what ours will be since it is non-returnable. very disappointing!
