No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The item was a great price, as I purchased a "used/returned" item. It arrived with the box badly damaged and 4 of the six glass globes were broken. Since it was a used item, there was a no return policy. It cost me an additional fifty dollars from my local lighting store to purchase the replacement glass. Needless to say, it cost me the same as a new one and was a lot more hassle.

This is so beautiful. You get a lot of design bang for the price. This piece looks like it could have cost much more. If you are looking for clean well-proportioned lines and high quality materials, this is it.
