The rug is exactly as advertised. The yellow is slightly less golden than it appears in the product page, but it matches the review photos, so I knew what I was getting. The quality and texture is exactly as expected and I'm very happy with that. What I'm less than thrilled with is the fact that it came stinking to high heaven. It must have been stored in a warehouse that was positively filled to the brim with cigarette smoke with a healthy dose of diesel exhaust. It'll take some washing and airing out to get rid of it, and even then I don't know how long it'll take. It's stunk up the whole room and into the hallway. I probably would have changed my mind and put it outside on the line to get a better chance of airing out, except I worked my tail off to get it under my very heavy bed frame with an unwieldy mattress, so it's there until I move or die. This rug is not only beautiful but is sturdy and quite comfortable underfoot with the recommended rug pad. After unrolling it and placement, it was lying flat by the next day. It has the look of kind of an open weft and weave but it is in fact durable… much to my surprise when my kitties had to try their claws out on it (of course cuz it’s new) not a yarn was pulled up on it! Revised 36-the rug looked nice, but it won’t stop shedding. Also, the letter print on the band on the underside has transferred to the carpet. It came out with my carpet cleaner machine, but a hassle. I taped all of the letters with blue painters tape to provide a barrier. All-in-all, I hope the rug stops shedding soon, or I will have nothing left. Pretty! This rug came packaged really well, no odor and no stain spots as others mentioned. It is plush and well made. Glad I took a chance because I had my eye on this for a while.
