Ralph Krämer Germany (1955 - )

Born in Saarbrücken in 1955, Ralph Krämer’s designs seem imbued with a great deal of momentum. Perhaps this is because after completing his studies in industrial design he worked for a sporting goods company designing surfboards. He has been an independent designer since 1983, specializing in household items, flatware and tableware. His designs have enriched the mono program for the last fifteen years.

All the designs in the Mono Salad collections are attractive, functional, stable, pure, graceful, simple. The designs are the perfect marriage between the natural world, and the industrial world: beech wood and iron; birch wood and steel. Each piece has exactly what is necessary for the job at hand.
