We live in a colonial house but appreciate a modern aesthetic. This chandelier straddles these two worlds beautifully. Our only concern is that a few of the posts seem slightly bent. Nice looking light. You have to arrange the arms to fit within slots in the cap that goes on the bottom, which was more difficult to line up than you'd expect. But it's a good, solid fixture and providers a lot of light, which is what we needed. We wanted to use globe shaped bulbs to match the vanity fixture, and candelabra bases work in this fixture..
