Alfredo Häberli Argentina (? - 1976)Alfredo Häberli was born in Buenos Aires in Argentina in 1964, but moved to Switzerland in 1977, where he trained as an industrial designer at the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in Zürich, graduating in 1991. Since 1993 he has had his own design studio, with his most famous works being the stripy porcelain he designed for the Finnish company Iitalla, furniture for Mosors and furnishings for stores such as the Camper store in Paris and the Kvadrat showroom in Milan. Over the last 17 years Alfredo Häberli Design Development has become a prestigious international design studio. Mr Häberli has taught at design schools throughout Europe and the United States, and has participated at a host of exhibitions worldwide. He has also received a number of prestigious awards for his work. Alfredo Häberli finds inspiration for his elegant, minimalist designs in everyday life – gathering impressions into themes so he can always draw on them if he suddenly finds a use for them in a new context. His products are so ingeniously simple, they can all be described in just a few phrases. One method he uses is to keep observing his work again and again throughout the process: "Observing is the most beautiful way to think. I am constantly discovering new things in a single object," he says about his work.

Amazing Glasses Great style, light weight, and led-free. Too tall doran average dishwasher though. Overall, one of the best glasses out there. |

Elegant and Modern I have been pining for these wine glasses for ages and finally splurged. I love the angular shape of the glass -- it's so elegant and modern, a really nice upgrade on my old set from Ikea. I feel very chic drinking from them. |

Great glasses but BIG These are great wine glasses but be aware that they are big and tall. They barely fit in the dish washer. |

Great! Got these along with the white wine version. Good looking. Have had them for 3 months and haven't broken them yet! |

love the design. enjoy using them. they are taller than what I had before, so on a dinner table they are quite tall. they are quite thin- (the bowl part), but I've put them in the dishwasher with no problems so far. I try to separate them from other glasses. I was also surprised that the stems have seams on them- a bit of a bummer. it's hardly noticeable, but if you're a designer you might fixate on stuff like this. |

Graceful design, sturdy performance This is just a beautiful wine glass that looks delicate but is quite sturdy. I haven't managed to chip or break one since I bought them over a year ago. |

Replaced 1 broken glass with 2 new ones! We love these glasses - I did break one but on the whole (I have 9 now) they have held up well and are very attractive. The bowl is too narrow for me to put my hand in so I use my Bosch dishwasher and they survive fabulously. |

Lovely large modern glasses The opening at the top is a little narrow for hand washing but they have survived the dishwasher without any difficulty. I love the look and balance of these glasses - great for entertaining, fun for just the two of us. |

Can't stop buying these! I can't stop buying them, because I keep breaking them when I wash them! They are a bit delicate, and I'm a bit rough,,,,so I haven't found a similar line of stemware I like better overall, design, price or durability! |
