Antonio Citterio Italy (1950 - )Antonio Citterio was born in Meda, Italy in 1950, opened his own design studio in 1972, and received a degree in architecture from Milan's Polytechnic University in 1975. From 1987 to 1996 he worked with Terry Dwan and together they designed offices in Europe and Japan. In 1999 "Antonio Citterio and Partners" was founded as a multidisciplinary design studio for architecture, industrial design and graphics; founding partners were Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel.
The bold, distinctive design and generous proportions of the Citterio 98 collection have earned it the status of a modern classic. Drawing influence from traditional restaurant cutlery, the matte brushed stainless steel design feels equally at home in both a formal dinner setting and at a relaxed get-together with friends.| Item: | Dimensions: | Weight: |

Form and Function This is my favorite daily spoon. It's light yet strong, modern, simple, functional, natural feel when using it, high quality material and craftsmanship. We have various spoons and I always prefer to use the Citterio 98 desert spoon. I prefer the desert for dinner use over the dinner spoon. |
