Gorgeous chandelier in my New Orleans style kitchen. The wires that go down to the fixtures themselves are visible in one side but are tightly clamped to keep them together I had the electrician turn it to the side so those wires aren’t front and center. This four piece series takes its inspiration from watching a rare and brief meteor shower one summer. The shades of green, red, yellow, and blues came to me as I wondered how the differing colors would play out as the comets raced through space toward some unknown destination. Thick layers of paint are hand applied to create movement and texture. Because it is hand painted, no two pieces of art will be exactly the same. The gallery wrapped canvas is set into a floating black wood frame. Hardware is attached so the back of the art so that it is ready to hang right out of the box.
