Love this light fixture! As stated in previous reviews, the lampshade does appear to be white and brighter in these photos, but it is more oatmeal and has off-white flecks in the linen lampshade material. But knowing that, I was interested, and it did not disappoint. One thing to note: the seam on the lampshade is pretty noticeable when the light is on, so if you don't have a wall that "hides" the seam, it could be distracting and annoying to some. Now I have to be really careful if I plan to change the bulb in the future. If took a while and some patience to get the bulb in and have it work without breaking the fixture further.
