Segmented by bright LED rings finished in matte black, glass shades of an hourglass shape are combined into various configurations. The hand-blown glass is entirely transparent creating an undulating pattern. All together, the series includes pendants, flush mounts, and portable lamps.

Originally created in 1968, by the famous Viennese Designer, the Morelli Arc Lamp is a historical reissue masterminded by Peter Morelli himself. Peter was one of the first designers to utilize bent wood to create the unique arm of the lamp. When this light was originally introduced the design was attributed to Harvey Guzzini, a nom de plume used to disguise the identity of Nova’s chief designer and ensure he was not recruited away from Nova. Very high quality lamp, solid metal, and it arrived properly wrapped with the metal finish protected. I will say it’s a bit tricky to put together as the long arms are a bit awkward to maneuver. Read the assembly instructions as there is a certain sequence you have to follow. Took about an hour to assemble and align the curved arms. We love this lamp. It was immediately apparent that it was of a much higher quality than similar, cheaper lamps, and very much worth the price. Attaching the post to the base was a challenge. The included wrench was nice, but awkward given the limited angle afforded by the base. I had a very hard time getting the post tight and perpendicular to the base.
