TV Stand good value

My husband and his son assembled this item. I think he said it took them under an hour for assembly and that it was quite heavy in the box ... It required both of them to take it up the stairs. This is not a high-end piece of furniture, but the price was a good value and it looks okay. I have a white TV stand now and the black TV just didn't look right on it ... I wanted a black one to match the TV to help it "blend in" with the TV and the fireplace surround. There is plenty of space for all of our component equipment. Note though that there is no concealed space for Blu-Rays/DVDs in this unit, but we hardly ever use ours anymore anyway so that's no big deal to us. I would recommend to someone looking for a good sized TV stand with housing for component equipment!

Pieces we're complete and it took nearly 3.5 hours to assemble it. I just took my time to not to miss anything. The base metals are fine and still shiny. The quality of wood is just good. There are some other levels drilled to adjust the appropriate height based on needs. Actually it helped me to add another level for each of 3 existing opening which I prefer to use glass. If you are into DIY or just going to try this is a good one, I'm intending to add a one piece door for the middle opening. Do not try to pull it on the floor when moving it. If you are alone do it by lifting one end at a time, this prevents your expensive hard floor or the carpet being scratched by its metal bases. When prevention why cure.
Very nice, but one thing missing...

For the money, this is one of the nicest-looking stands you can buy. The tempered glass looks dark at night and pleasant during the day, and the metal feet give it a very modern look.

I left the legs off, perfect height for electronics to be under the window sill when the tv is mounted above the fireplace. I put it all together then realized how small the holes were for wires. I had to buy a dremel and saw out larger chunks for the amount of wires I have coming out of my receiver. Would've been much easier had I checked before nailing it in. I suggest you do that!

I love this entertainment stand. It has more than enough room for all components, and I like the fact that it has a glass door on each end, which helps to hide some components and the black basket I bought for the couple of hundred remotes that seem to grow. The one thing I wasn't very pleased with, is the backing. It barely fits the back of the stand, and the little nails provided are a bit too small. If you aren't careful, the nails can be pounded through the cardboard and miss the stand altogether.
Great looking unit at a great price!

After looking at several "big box" stores and doing an exhaustive Internet search for a TV stand for our 60" flat screen TV, we decided on this model, and are extremely happy with the purchase. The price was the same or less than some decidedly homely and cheap-looking 60" units seen elsewhere, and the design is possibly the most elegant, practical, and unobtrusive we found anywhere. The sleek, simple lines, glass doors, and metal feet fit well with our mid-century modern decor, there's plenty of space for components, setup was straightforward, and construction/materials very solid for a unit in this price range. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, except perhaps that the black finish does show dust easily, but that's sort of a given. In short, we love this TV stand (as much as one can love a piece of furniture) and are really glad we didn't settle for any of the other TV stands we looked at before we found this one.
Good Look & Good Value!

Easy to assemble. Even a 5 ft tall woman like me can handle it. The only thing is the middle leg somehow is a little taller than the legs at the corners. I use 4 felt pads at the corner legs so the unit can be slided easily & it works out great. The unit wobbles without the pads. It was not the legs themselves but the spacing of the predrilled holes that caused this, I think. The depth of the unit fits my receiver only marginally. You need add an inch or so to allow for the the cable connectors to the back of your receiver. So you may not want to nail the back panel all in until after you positioned & connected all the equipment. I had to leave one session of the back panel not nailed it to get an extra inch out of it. It was lucky I have a built in space for the unit so the back penal is out of sight. This is not solid wood. I found solid wood over-rated since today's electronics are so light weight & conpact. We used to need to move every few years. If that's the case, I would recommend solid wood so it can endure all the abuse when in transit. If you plan to stay put for a awhile, I do recommend this unit.
Great TV Stand

Gorgeous TV Stand. For the quality and craftsmanship, this TV stand cannot be beat. Seeing it assembled, I would assume a $1K price tag. Great directions, packaging, and hardware. Arrived quickly thanks to Wayfair. My only complaint is that the board that attaches to the back is not entirely painted black, only the side that faces the interior of the stand. From the side, you'll see the painted edge of the backboard, which is an eyesore for someone as detailed oriented as myself. Luckily, I had painters tape and black spray paint available. Now it meets all my expectations.

I glued my stand together. not needed but I felt better. took about 1.5 hours to build and about the same to load it up. works well for intended use. May get another when I need one ... if you need it friend get it. it is worth it and the store is on top of everything. no need for any customer service because they did it right the first time.
