Pernille Vea graduated from the Danish Design School in 1996 with a specialty in furniture and appliances. Her designs have won countless prizes and prestigious awards all over the world and her talent for creating innovative designs has made her one of Scandinavia's most successful upcoming designers. Known as one of Denmark's most influential and innovative furniture designers, Verner Panton's works elicit a vibrant and colorful "1960s" style. In 1960, Panton was credited with creating the very first single-form injection-molded plastic chair with the Panton stacking chair.
