Modern Furniture

Since the mid 1980s Maarten Van Severen, architect and designer, has been designing furniture which he initially produced in small quantities at his workshop in Ghent. His designs are characterised by their simple form and their comfort. Since 1995 he has been working with Vitra, and this has given rise to the Van Severen Collection.
