One of the great luminaries of Italian design, Vico Magistretti specialized in creating industrial furniture with a timeless appeal. Born in Milan in 1920, he graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1945 and subsequently joined his father's studio, focusing on urban planning and interior design. His innovation and passion has been recognized over the years through numerous design awards and the exhibition of his creations in New York's Museum of Modern Art. His collaboration with Knoll produced the classic Cirene Stacking Chair.
