The Vitra Design Museum Collection From Vitra
Established in 1989 by CEO Rolf Fehlbaum, the Vitra Design Museum maintains one of the largest collections of modern furniture design in the world with objects representing all of the major eras and stylistic periods from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present. The Museum Collection also holds several prominent estates, including those of Charles Eames, Verner Panton, and Alexander Girard. Along with Eames, Panton, and Girard this collection also includes works from George Nelson, Dorothee Becker, Sori Yanagi, Isamu Noguchi, Bruno Taut, and Frank Prouvé.
