About Yankee Hipster

Once upon a time there was a prolific street artist who did a seemingly political mural in Copenhagen. Some upset locals paint bombed the mural with the statement, ‘go home, yankee hipster.’ The term ‘yankee hipster’ was so funny, sarcastic, ironic and cheeky to us that the name was adopted.

Welcome to Yankee Hipster. The goal is to create typographical signage that is witty, smart, ironic, humorous and sometimes inspiring (but only sometimes).

Yankee Hipster is a fan of straight-to-the-point statements of truth, humorous antidotes, ironic perceptions, and inspiring words.
