Wood Designs Tabletop Puzzle Rack
Stephanie from Clayton, NC– Verified Buyer
Although this was a bit pricey, it is "hands down" the best puzzle rack. I tried the metal M&D brand and it was pitiful. This wooden one is extremely sturdy. It is rather heavy, in fact, so I feel confident being able to put it on a table or on the floor (and have had it in both places since we moved) and it is always too heavy for the kids to maneuver or move around, which I like so that it will stay put and they can get their puzzles in and out without it moving, toppling, etc. Well worth the money!

We ordered these puzzle racks to replace the metalwire style - which were nearly impossible for three and four year olds to slide puzzles into. The shelves in this rack make it very easy for them to put the puzzles away. Even some larger puzzles fit in the rack if turned sideways. The only downside is that some of the selves aren't quite wide enough to stay in the grooves securely. You need to get them perfectly centered and hope they don't get bumped too hard or the shelf will fall. Overall, this hasn't been a major issue. The fact that the shelves are removable is great for puzzles with large knobs on the pieces as you can remove a shelf to allow one of these puzzles to fit.
good puzzle rack

I have this in my family child care. The removable shelves are great for peg puzzles for smaller children. This rack sits on the floor next to a shelf with manipulatives, and helps us stay organized.
Keep the kids' puzzles organized!

This is a very solid puzzle rack that would withstand years of use & abuse by toddlers and children. This is the second one I bought. It's a handy place to keep puzzles, easy to access for the kids and helps you keep all your puzzles together. The only drawback is a single shelf does not accommodate your standard box puzzle unless you slide out the rack above it. But for tray puzzles, it's perfect.
