Achieving ISO 9001 Certification in the summer of 2000, W.A.C. assures quality performance in product design, development, production, assembly and service.
Innovative world-class designs and state-of-the-art technology are hallmarks of the W.A.C. Lighting product line. Updated with an extensive lineup of product releases for the residential, commercial and specification markets, 2005 introduced a comprehensive low voltage downlighting line (Precision Downlights), a line of specification grade track fixtures that work with the industry standard L, H, and J/J2 track (Precision Spots), and recessed modular fixtures that provide modern lamping, lens, and adjustability options (Precision Modules). These innovations will only continue as WAC Lighting addresses the product and application requests they get from you, their customers.
Affordable pricing, outstanding quality and versatile options are what lighting buyers have come to expect from the W.A.C. line of products. Today's building plans require lighting to illuminate a variety of both simple and hard-to-reach areas while maintaining a visually interesting space. W.A.C.'s family of luminaries accomplish this goal. If a buyer has a broad range of lighting needs, then W.A.C.'s diverse line will meet them. From retrofit to new construction, from state-of-the-art technology to miniaturization, W.A.C. Lighting has passed the test of time.
nice product but reliability question

Very nice item, I had 15 of these installed 5 years ago in a dining room and hallway. However, one of these units just quit working when the transformer failed, and had to be replaced recently, which meant $225 for an electrician plus the new unit, then a few hours by me repairing the plaster and repainting. I hope this doesn't mean I'm going to have further reliability problems with these units. Also, the bulbs are a bit of a hassel to replace, as the retaining ring and front glass have to be removed, and then the ceiling collar has to be pulled off. Fortunately that's something that has to be done only infrequently. Overall I like these units - no hum, attractive look, nicely dimmable.

I'm from new england, where every builder wants to put big ugly 6 inch potlights. Added extra lighting to my kitchen, and this looks so much better. Really easy to install, and good value for money.
