I got this in and loved him so much, I purchased another. One perched on the shelf is great...but two is perfect. The Eames House bird is a must-have accent piece to any mid-century modern home.

Eames House Bird is a stunner

I had seen the bird before but when it arrived I was surprised by how large it was. The distinctive shape and the quality and feel of the bird makes this a stunning piece. The solid black color makes the bird stand out against almost any background.

This is the quality I expect from Vitra and completely reinforced by decision not to fall for a cheaper version.

Loves the Eames Birdhouse!
Awesome, but Delicate
James from Boston, MA– Verified Buyer
I love this bird. Unfortunately, he's a bit delicate. Because he sits on two nails for legs and rests on about an inch of thin tail, he can easily be toppled over if he gets in the way! And when he falls, his "feathers" and beak get chipped pretty easily. I am now the proud owner of two Eames House Birds, both a bit damaged but very much loved!
