We have decided to purchase Viktor Air Purifier about two months ago. We live in Norway and ordered one through komplett.no. Once we opened the box, we noticed that it wasnt in a new condition, it seemed like the box has been opened before and that the back lid of the purifier was opened, and overall, it did not look like a new product. We ended up going back and exchanging it. We have received a new Viktor in about a week. We began to use it in our home and were enjoying its work, even though one of the advertised options was the night mode, and it seemed that it will turn off the light during the night mode, but it didnt, just dimmed it .It has been working properly for just few weeks and then it began to make a strange, high-pitch electronic sound. We ended up sending it back for a checkup and after a week komplett told us we will receive a new one instead. So we went to pick it up and when we brought it home, opened the box and took it out, the back cover was slightly bent, which is not very noticeable at the first sight and one of the hooks, that holds the main filter was completely broken and just fell out once weve opened the back cover. After we plugged it in to see if it works, it just slightly lighted up but did not work whatsoever.
We are very disappointed, it is our third try with Viktor Air Purifier and the quality of it is just unacceptable for amount of money it actually costs. We had to go back to the store once again and this time we returned it, without exchange. It has been a very bad experience overall and we are very disappointed.
I have sent this message to Stadler representative first in U.S. and then I was re-directed to an international sales manager names Samuel Wyss. He has been one of the worst sales reps I have ever dealt with. After numerous emails back and forth trying to resolve the issues we had with Viktor Purifier, the customer service aspect was just horrible. We have been fed an idea that someone will contact us with further information but no one ever did, even after I persistently tried to contact Samuel Wyss, nothing happened. So from overall experience this has been a very long, unsatisfying, time consuming, stressful and just a horrible experience. Never again will we buy or recommend to buy any of the Stadler products, first because it does not live up to the standardsquality and the price, and second, very importantly is for the most unacceptably bad customer service.
