Edgar Blazona brings more than 16 years of furniture design and manufacturing experience to TrueModern. His deep knowledge of manufacturing, understanding ofMaterials and the modernist aesthetic are the driving force behind TrueModern. Edgar has held senior design and creative positions at William Sonoma, Modular Dwellings, Thinc and the design firm "1994". Edgar and his designs have been featured in Vogue, Dwell, Paper, Ready Made and Metropolitan Home. In 2003, Edgar joined Thinc, a design firm specializing in consumer products for large retailers, to launch its furniture and hard goods division. Under Edgar's direction as Vice President and Creative Director, Thinc designed major collections for Target, Home Depot, Sears, Walmart, Office Max and Office Depot. By spending much of his time traveling back and forth abroad, he managed the process from design to the finished product in stores today. Prior to joining Thinc, Edgar worked in the product development division at Pottery Barn, where he contributed to design, manufacturing and quality control across several brands including Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen. It was through his work with William Sonoma's manufacturing matrix that Edgar gained a deep understanding of the relationship between design and the manufacturing process that underscores his work today. Edgar cemented his reputation within the modernist design community with the launch of Modular Dwellings, custom, mobile, prefabricated dwellings that elegantly blend form and function for affordable modernist living. In 2004 Modular Dwellings was listed among Metropolitan Home magazine's Top 100 Designs of the year. In the early part of his career, Edgar co-founded "1994", a modernist design firm praised for its clean aesthetic, craftsmanship and accessibility.

This is the sofa I dreamed off. The only thing is the feet are a bit tall. Nice workmanship and details.
Great couch but bad delivery!!!!!

My couch arrived yesterday. It is exactly what I wanted, it's beautiful and really good quality. The only problem was the delivery service. They were terrible! I paid for white glove service and it was more like dirty no glove service. It arrived with marks on it and they were very carless while putting the legs on. Be aware of delivery companies. Now, I need to get the stains cleaned, when I paid a lot to have it arrive in perfect condition. Very disappointing!!!!!!

cool mid century modern look that still has a fresh very current edge. this is not a sink into it couch, but that should be obvious by the taught tufted pillows and clean lines. have only had it for a month or so - cannot comment on how it wears over time, but i have no complaints with craftsmanship
