Great bed, great price from Bexley, OH on 12/28/2014 – Verified Buyer
This bed rivals any upholstered bed from a high end store. I am sure that if you're being really picky, you could find some slight differences (depth of tufts, quality of nailheads, height of the headboard), but for the amount of money that you're saving, the differences are negligible. Fabric/color: I've seen two pictures of the gray bed, and the colors look wildly different. Our bed is a very dark charcoal gray. Nailheads/details: The nail heads are individually tacked in and look very nice. The tufts are deep enough to be noticeable, but aren't quite as deep as something you'd see at Restoration Hardware, for example. Height: We have a Serta iComfort mattress, which is rather tall. After reading some reviews. we chose a low profile box spring. This allows enough of the headboard to show above the mattress. You could use no boxspring at all, but the bed would be rather low. Construction/assembly: The slats that go beneath the mattress came pre-assembled -- this might be a new feature, as several people said that assembly took 2+ hours. My husband assembled it by himself in under an hour. The footboard corners seem the tiniest bit askew to me, but, again, for the price, I am willing to overlook it. Also, they are completely unnoticeable once you have the duvet on the bed. Delivery: I chose the "free delivery", which Wayfair describes as being to the "first dry area" of your home -- for me, this would be the entryway, as our porch is not covered. They also say that you will receive a call to let you know when the shipment is arriving, as well as a delivery window. Again --- all of this was described in the "free delivery" option. However, the local delivery company disagreed and said that this delivery was just like a "UPS delivery" --- no call, no knock at the door. Therefore, I opened my door to see a king size bed sitting on my porch, blocking my door. After much debate with the delivery company over the phone, I realized that they would be no help and I would have to move it myself (my husband was out of town). I actually had very little problem moving it into our entry way -- not easy, but doable. Long story short, had I known that the delivery was nothing more than "UPS style", I would have paid for the extra delivery cost. Since the bed is so cheap, it is worth it to pay extra for the delivery -- especially if you would have problems moving 50lb + boxes on your own! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy from the TOV line & from Wayfair again-- now that I understand the shipping rules!

Great bed great price from Laurel, MD on 07/14/2014 – Verified Buyer
For the price, this is a great bed. It was delivered in four boxes... four BIG boxes. Installation was tedious and very long but we got it done in about three hours (about two hours too long). Took extra time due to the directions being incorrect; screws were wrong but we were able to figure it out. The bed is made very well for the price. The fabric is definitely borderline potato sack rather than "linen". However, the color is dead on - light beige and matches perfectly with my modern gray blue wall. This bed looks just like several beds that I saw in high end department stores but at a fraction of the price. If you can handle the installation, you should have no issues with this bed. While it may be made in China, it is a sturdy bed with quality that I would expect at a higher price point. As far as delivery goes, it took about three weeks to deliver which was a week later than what was expected. At the time of order, I was told the bed would be delivered a week prior but once I received the confirmation, that date was moved out. I was also told that I would need to move the boxes from the truck or purchase the upgrade for a lift. Do not purchase the lift option for delivery as it was not necessary. The bed was delivered in the first room of the house and did not require any additional labor involvement.

The perfect fabric bed from Fort McMurray, AB on 06/21/2015 – Verified Buyer
Amazing buy! Looking forever for a fabric tufted headboard and saw this. So glad we bought it! Fabric is thick and high quality, Love how has a solid fabric encased platform to match.. Means no cutesy linen needed to hide the mattress. What it doesn't show is the fantastic quality behind the scenes. The way the back is velcro'd on in sections so you can build the bed then cover it so it's hidden is seamless. The nailhead are a great touch in a super discreet way as they're only up the sides. The only negative is the slats for the mattress weren't strong enough to protect our new high end mattress from sagging. We simply removed the slat system and used our box spring and it stayed hidden perfectly. Recommended highly!!

Stunning bed & relatively easy assembly from Washington, DC on 07/29/2015 – Verified Buyer
I purchased the beige color in queen size, and it looks in person exactly as it appears in the photo - a nice linen-like weave with variegated/ heathered beige/ oatmeal coloring. The nailheads are are separately stamped into the wings of the bed, not applied in a strip. The tufts are deep and luxurious looking. I've only been sleeping on the bed a few days, so can't comment on the durability, but style-wise the bed is exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was relatively easy - securing the 2 halves of the bed frame together was a bit challenging, and fitting one of the side rails into the footboard was challenging because the clip was a bit misaligned, but i made it work and other than those 2 issues, assembly was literally a snap. The headboard is gorgeous - can't say enough about how deep and expensive the tufts look. And the headboard is tall enough that, even with euro shams on the bed, you can still see about a foot of tufted headboard luxuriousness above the shams, and you can certainly see the headboard on the sides of the pillows, as well. The wings with the silver nailheads add an extra style note. You do not need a boxspring - the platform itself is quite low to the ground, but we have a queen pillowtop mattress approx. 14" high, and placing just the mattress on top of the platform yields exactly the height mattress we'd like. Overall extremely happy with this bed and would definitely recommend! Pros: Style, materials, details, height, color Cons: Assembly, to a degree

Nice bed, but not crazy about it from San Antonio, TX on 06/02/2015 – Verified Buyer
As many reviewers already commented, the charcoal gray is very dark. When we first set the bed up in the evening, it almost appeared black, it is so dark. The fabric is nice, but to me it doesn't look expensive. We were sent 2 wrong leg parts, so had to order those (they haven't arrived yet). We are using our standard size (not low profile) boxspring and pillowtop mattress. You really can't see the headboard as well with both, plus our pillows-it comes up so high on the headboard. If you didn't use a boxspring, I think you would feel too low to the ground. I kind of wish we had a low-profile boxspring and maybe the headboard would be the right height. As is right now, with our king-sized pillows resting on the headboard, you can only see the top set of tufts. There's no way you could use European shams, or it would cover the headboard completely. Overall I think it's a nice bed. I'm not ecstatic about it though.
