South Shore Vintage Queen Platform Bed
Bed is great for it's purpose
Amanda from Fishers, IN– Verified Buyer
Bed is exactly what I suspected. While I wish it could be slightly taller, it's sturdy and will hold up well for my youngest daughter for many years ahead!
Great Platform Bed for guest bedroom
Amy from Colleyville, TX– Verified Buyer
I ordered this platform bed to put in the guest bedroom of my house. It has been a great addition to my house and matches well with my other furniture in the room. I can't wait for guests to use this bed and furniture.
Caution if not buying head board
Nhon from Bordentown, NJ– Verified Buyer
The bed is solid and easy to assemble. However it is larger than a normal queen mattress because it leaves some room for the headboard. If you buy the bed without the head board, there will a gap on the platform not covered by the mattress.
very sharp-looking bed
Dave from Lafayette, LA– Verified Buyer
arrived almost immediately; very, very easy to assemble; very nice looking. The only drawback is that one leg got wet (window left open). The particle board or plywood swelled up and the tissue-thin woodgrain surface was burst open in several places. Haven't yet figured out how to camouflage this.

It looks OK but is not very sturdy. The queen frame is longer than my queen mattress so I keep ramming my shins into the posts

Great quality and great bed, kinda tedious to assemble but overall great product
Missing parts, lacking support
Kristina from Kitchener, ON– Verified Buyer
I love the look of this bed, and overall was happy with the way it went together but we had some trouble as a few of the holes were not pre-drilled and some screws were missing. Also, the two center legs that attach to the cross-bar supports are flimsy and bent under the bed after only 2 nights of use. We've cut our own supports out of a 4x4 and since then have had no trouble. Nothing I wouldn't expect from a pre-fab bed such as this.

Easily put together and looks great. Product is very heavy, so make sure you have assistance when hauling it upstairs or into the house!

We owned this bed for less than a month when one night my husband, who is 180 lbs, sat on the bed and the entire thing collapsed. I knew it wasn't going to be of the highest quality, but I was truly shocked at how poorly it was constructed. Will NEVER purchase a bed here again.
Seems good now that it is together
Teresa from Texas– Verified Buyer
They have been nice, with no problems now that it is together. The headboard and rails really don't attach to the frame of the bed. Also the frame and headboard don't match up. so my husband is going to mount it to the wall. It was also a pain to put together.
