Good Quality For Price from West Chester, PA on 08/19/2013 – Verified Buyer
After much research and comparison shopping I ordered the king bed in Linen Gray. I feel like this bed was an amazing price for the quality - I managed to get it on sale and paid just above $500. Shipping was super fast - although website said 5+ weeks the bed was delivered in about 5 days from order. The bed came in one shipment and was packaged amazingly well. Total unwrapping and construction time was about 2.5 hours. Directions must have been recently updated because they were very easy to follow - no problems at all putting the bed together. Color is as pictured - a nice medium gray. Nail heads are individually applied and are not a strip. My mattress and boxspring measure about 16 together and there is about a 3.5 gap from top of mattress to bottom of headboard. Previous reviewers have mentioned this so I was prepared - gap is easy to camouflage with shamsdecorative pillows. I was nervous to make a large purchase like this without seeing the bed in person and knowing that it was special order and could not be returned. I relied on other reviews and am not sorry I did. For the price, it would be difficult to beat the quality and style of this bed and Wayfair made the process extremely easy.

Big hassle for a decent bed from Michigan on 01/30/2013 – Verified Buyer
Let me preface this review by saying that we are pretty happy with the bed. I would give it 4 stars if there were no other unpleasantness. It was not very difficult to put together, the fabric is nice quality, and the nailheads look great. The only downside of the bed itself is that there is a slight gap between base and headboard when mattress and box spring are added, but this can easily be hidden. Also, the corners of the base are hard to get completely flush. Oh well, for the price, it is a good bed. My problem is not with the bed itself, but with the customer service hassle we have had to go through to get what we ordered. The bed arrived about 2.5 weeks after we ordered, which wasn't bad at all. However, when it arrived and after we had moved furniture out of the room it was to go in, we discovered that one side of the headboard completely lacked nailheads. I alerted Wayfair of the problem, and they had me ship back one side of the headboard. Now, 2 weeks later, the returned side has too many nailheads and I'm waiting for more nailheads so I can even out the two sides. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience. If this is indicative of Wayfair's customer service and lack of attention to detail, I will be hesitant to buy from them in the future.

Great Bed! from Cedar Park, TX on 10/06/2012 – Verified Buyer
This bed has some funny reviews online and I was skeptical to order, but everything turned out great. It was easy to assemble--I assembled it all by myself in about 2 hours! (37 y/o female)--the instructions were in English and similar IKEA's diagram based instructions. All the hardware needed was included. I didn't even need any extra tools. We have a 9" boxspring and a 10" memory foam mattress which fills in the "gap" that a lot of reviewers are talking about just perfectly. Yes, it needs a boxspring. I am now wondering if some reviewers assembled the bed incorrectly to achieve a larger gap--there are two rails that go on the back of the headboard to determine the height of it and I almost put them on upside down, myself, which would have caused the headboard to be higher than it is now. However I knew the rails needed to be flush with the feet of the headboard and re-evaluated the positioning of the rails. Bed looks great! I ordered Linen gray--thought it would be more of a silver from the website, it's closer to pewter. Looks terrific, regardless! This is a great bed for the price.

Love it! from Tallahassee, FL on 07/02/2013 – Verified Buyer
I ordered this bed after reading a review of it on a blog. I couldn't decide between the charcoal and gray. As Anthony, the Wayfair customer service rep explained, on a scale of 1 (white) to 10 (black), charcoal is a 8-9 while gray is a 5. I went with gray and it was mid-range black and white., exactly as Anthony described. It was very easy to assemble. I did it myself with a power screwdriver (to note, I am 31yrs old) because I couldn't wait on my husband to get home. All the nails on the trim are separate, they are not a strip. The back of the bed is bare, so you will need to put it against a wall. Also, this bed does require a box spring. Even with my box spring, mattress and mattress pad, there is about a 1 gap from the top of the mattress to the bottom of the headboard HOWEVER with pillows, you can't tell. For the price, this bed is a steal. I am very happy with it. My husband was worried that it would be too girly, but it looks really masculine with white bedding.

Why the gap? from Studio City, CA on 09/10/2014 – Verified Buyer
So far so good. Very nice, very white. Took 2 people 2 hours to build, not difficult but instructions are not that clear. The only question I have and reason for not giving 5 stars is that there is a 4-5 inch gap between the top of my mattress and the bottom of the head board so you may want to get and extra thick mattress to seal the gap!
