Serralunga Kabin Planter

Luisa Bocchietto created the Serralunga design collection with Marco Serralunga and she has been Art Director of the company from 2000, the year the collection was created, until 2007. She received the ADI Index recommendation for this Art Direction work in 2004. Her products are of large dimensions and show a search for essentialism and coherence in shape. Some of these have been translated into families (Vas-One and Kabin) manufactured in various dimensions. The design approach is to identify new elements in the repurpose of archetypal shapes that can make the most of production technology. The aim is to create industrialized products, of widespread distribution, always introducing an element of surprise, which generates emotion.
