David Winston is the founder and creative director of Cleanroom Inc., an architectural design and branding firm specializing in architecture, furniture and branded environments with offices in Los Angeles and New York. After establishing a successful career as an artist and production designer, he opened the New York office in 2002. Winston is noted for designing the The Museum of Sex at 233 Fifth Avenue in 2002. In 2008, he gained notoriety for wrapping the Hell's Kitchen Tetris Building. He is also the designer of the PROJECT Show, which features the most influential and directional advanced contemporary brands in the marketplace today. Winston acquired his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and his Master of Architecture from Columbia University. He is an associate member of the AIA and is a visiting critic at Parson Architecture School, New York Institute of Technology and Columbia University.
