The diffuser is the most characteristic part of this lamp. In fact, Flow's diffuser is made of molded opal polycarbonate and has a spheroidal volume. Visually speaking, it looks like a decomposed series of concentric rings that intercept and diffuse light in the room. The shape of the diffuser changes according to the angle of observation; it looks as if the lamp were dematerializing itself and embodied a flow of energy, an electric vibration.
