Jonathan Adler was born in farm town in New Jersey, 1966. Jonathan Adler pottery begins its life in our Soho studio, where Jonathan and his team design and sculpt every prototype. The product you are viewing is produced by skilled artisans at our main workshop in Peru. They make molds from our prototypes and then hand craft each piece from high-fired stoneware or porcelain. Our Peruvian workshop was found through Aid to Artisans, a non-profit organization that connects designers in America with artisans in developing countries to promote fair trade.

I bought this lamp for a pop of color in my apple green and cream living room. It's stylish and looks great on an end table. We use it for reading as there are no overhead lights in this room.
Love this lamp

This lamp is stunning. It's cool, modern, stylish and illuminates an area very well. The blue base is a rich almost turquoise that brightens my mood! I placed it on a side table in the living room where it is both functional and artistic. The only downside is the awkward placement of the on/off switch - one must reach down through, or up under, the shade to access the switch.
