Rachael Ray With a brand new magazine, a talk show that aired in the fall of 2006, and a cookbook that has held the coveted #1 spot on the New York Times best seller list, Rachael's ascent is only beginning. Your individual style will be showcased through Rachael Ray's collection of vibrant, practical, and unique cookware. Growing up in a family with deep culinary traditions, Rachael Ray claims that cooking is a way of life that she was simply born into. "Everyone on both sides of my family cooks." Ray was exposed to a wide range of cooking techniques, from her maternal grandfather who grew and cooked everything that his family of 12 needed for sustenance, to her dad's family that was steeped in the food-rich traditions of Louisiana. "I was surrounded by all different styles of cooking and worked in the food service industry in just about every capacity you can imagine." After getting her feet wet in the gourmet world of food at Macy's Marketplace in New York, and after assisting in opening Agata & Valentina, Ray decided that the NYC lifestyle was exciting, but not what she wanted long term, so she moved back to the Adirondacks. Once upstate, Ray turned her job at Cowan & Lobel into a dual position as food buyer and chef, jobs that she loved. As a way to increase grocery sales during the holidays, Ray began a series of cooking classes, which quickly became a happening. The cooking course promising to teach thirty "30-Minute Mediterranean Meals" exploded in popularity and eventually led to a long-term relationship with the Food Network, hosting shows such as "Tasty Travels," "$40 a Day," "Inside Dish," and "30-Minute Meals." "My life has been a total accident -- a very happy, wonderful accident that I didn't and couldn't have planned," says Ray. Despite her growing celebrity she is determined to stay grounded and hold on to her down-to-earth values. Rachael Ray's collection of cookware makes the selection process simple by delivering products to you that offer unique colors, function, and value. The different cookware materials that will be found include hard-anodized aluminum, porcelain enamel nonstick, porcelain enamel cast iron, and commercial nonstick. When you choose Rachael Ray products for your family, you've made an investment for many years to come.
This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or grilled cheese "sammys". The set also includes a sauté pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by sauteing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.| Item: | Dimensions: | Weight: |

Love it. I use my cookware for everyday cooking and canning. So far nothing has stuck to it. Love it, don't have to use a bunch of oil or butter to have things not stick. |

I would buy this product again Love everything about this set. Love the color, love the handles, love the looks. I'm not a great cook but I find myself using the stove more often with this set because it cooks evenly. It is recommended not to put in the dishwasher but the pans clean up easily. |

Worth the money I love the Rachael Ray pots and pans, never having to scrub hard to get caked on anything from the night before is great. They even heat up pretty fast as well. It is recommended that you do not us in the dishwasher so ladies and gents, be prepared to hand-wash those pots and pans. |

Makes cooking fun and easy! I use these pots for everyday cooking and large holiday gatherings. They distribute heat evenly, so cook time is cut down. In addition, the non-stick cleans easily, so you can use them over and over for the same meal! I cant believe I waited so long to purchase these pots. Looking to fill in with other Rachel Ray cookware and serving dishes!! |

Not very impressed with Quality After reading all the reveiws, I thought this was going to be a great Pot Set, but I have to say that I was less than impressed. The pots are a bit light-weight,with relatively thin bottoms. (the reason why high heat is not recomended)The handles are also thin and dont have a solid feel. I love Rachel Ray, but I would have recomended she not endorse this level of cookware. Yes, the set is very attractive looking, but it lacks real substance. Better value can be had elsewhere, sorry Rachel, I still love you. |

Like it! The quality is as good as some of the higher priced lines of cookware. I liked the price on this site - I live in Canada and [...] it was cheaper than purchasing it at a local retailer. The colour is amazing, it looks great in my kitchen, and the quality is great. Heats nice and even, no complaints here! |
