I make all of our bread so this knife gets used often. As others have noted it is a very high quality knife, slices through fresh soft bread with ease, mine is not warped so my slices come out even unless I am warped (half asleep).

I have this 5 stars because, for the money, it is very good. My knife came slightly warped, so the bread slices tend to be bigger at the bottom if I don't watch it. However, considering the price, it is worth every penny. We make almost all our own bread and use this knife every day. It holds up. Don't put it, or any prep knife, in the dishwasher.

I have other, more costly, name brand knives. This one outshines them all. Cutting crusty bread with soft insides is easy. You hardly have to use any pressure and the bread keeps its shape without smooshing into a dough ball. I do not put this into the dishwasher. It rinses off cleanly. I have had mine for several years and like it so well that I purchased a few more to give as gifts with loaves of homemade bread.
