Julian Meagher studied industrial design in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 1996, he moved to London, UK to pursure a career in product design. He began his professional career working under the wing of design guru Tom Karen of Ogle Design. He has since bolstered his design portfolio working for an impressive array of blue chip clients that include Virgin Mobile, Mattel, Hasbro, Tomy, GSK and Speedo. Focussing mainly on product styling over the years Julian has created his own bold aesthetic that is clearly evident in his own brand, Playforever. Habitat UK and Habitat France recognised this sleek design language in the Playforever collection and placed the first large orders. After his debut product launch in 2005, he has successfully developed 2 further ground breaking designs in the Playforever line. The Playforever range of toys includes the Bruno Roadster, the Mimmo Aeroplane, and the Enzo Motorbike. The toys are made of high-grade ABS plastic and rubber. Thick moldings give them weight and quality parts give them gloss.

Solid toy, nicely made. However, the tolerance on the wheels prevented them from turning freely thus my 2 year old cannot whiz it across the floor to me like his sister could when I purchased the Enzo Sidecar for her. It worked flawlessly out of the box. This Bruno will take some "breaking in" to get it to work correctly. Considering the price, I could have purchased an entire fleet of HotWheels and my son would have been happier.
