Pioneer Pet Drinking Fountain

The over-all size is a little larger than the pictures make it seem. So far Ive not turned on the pump as it scares the cats. I think a little more time for the adjustment is what they need. The product works.
Good looking and clean

My old fountain sent water through plastic tubes which got moldy ad there was no way to clean them. I didn't want my cat drinking moldy water. This ceramic fountain is stylish, has no tubes and is easy to keep sparkling clean. Both my cat and I love it.

While the fountain part works, it takes a long time to start up each time.

This might not be a problem for everyone, but we have a couple of handy cats who like to pull on things with their paws. The area at the end of the fountain top is conveniently curved to just make a good place to grab. When the top of the fountain is displaced a little, the pump keeps working and pumps the water onto the floor until the bowls empty. After waking up twice to the screeching sound of the pump overheating, we now unplug it at night and when were leaving the house. This might be a better product for dogs...wish wed known that.
Cat Drinking Fountain

Our 4 cats love the fountain. One used to drink from the bathroom sink faucet and now prefers the fountain. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is fairly heavy for me to take to the kitchen sink to wash out every 2nd day. I'm afraid I might drop and break it. Next time I will buy the stainless one.
