OMG! My Cat LOVES it!
Michael from Lindenhurst, IL– Verified Buyer
My 22 lb. cat would drag his (and the dog's) ceramic water bowls thru the kitchen making ponds and puddles everywhere. Very frustrating, and then you would get dog and cat paw prints throughout the house from them walking in it. Someone told me their cat did the same thing, and said they solved it with a water fountain. I was a bit concerned after reading how it may take a cat a few days to start using the bowl - for $50 and what if he didn't like it? - but a few seconds was more like it! He guarded the fountain after he realized it was really and truly just for him, and that us humans finally figured out the proper manner in which he would like to drink. He drinks from all three sections, depending on his mood - the bubbler, river, and pond, and as someone else stated, he drinks a lot more water. It is a bit louder than I wanted, but we're getting used to it after a few weeks. NOTE: It has filters that need to be changed monthly (3-packs range from $7-$12), so to save on future shipping, I recommend purchasing at least one 3-pack when you purchase the bowl if you're getting free shipping. On the high end, that could be another $48/year in filters alone.

While the fountain part works, it takes a long time to start up each time.

The over-all size is a little larger than the pictures make it seem. So far Ive not turned on the pump as it scares the cats. I think a little more time for the adjustment is what they need. The product works.
Good looking and clean
Christine Nolan from Methuen, MA
My old fountain sent water through plastic tubes which got moldy ad there was no way to clean them. I didn't want my cat drinking moldy water. This ceramic fountain is stylish, has no tubes and is easy to keep sparkling clean. Both my cat and I love it.
Cat Drinking Fountain

Our 4 cats love the fountain. One used to drink from the bathroom sink faucet and now prefers the fountain. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is fairly heavy for me to take to the kitchen sink to wash out every 2nd day. I'm afraid I might drop and break it. Next time I will buy the stainless one.
The animals love it

Our dog and cat love the running water. I think I will buy another one.

This might not be a problem for everyone, but we have a couple of handy cats who like to pull on things with their paws. The area at the end of the fountain top is conveniently curved to just make a good place to grab. When the top of the fountain is displaced a little, the pump keeps working and pumps the water onto the floor until the bowls empty. After waking up twice to the screeching sound of the pump overheating, we now unplug it at night and when were leaving the house. This might be a better product for dogs...wish wed known that.
