About the Designer
Ralph Krämer Germany (1955 - )
Born in Saarbrücken in 1955, Ralph Krämer’s designs seem imbued with a great deal of momentum. Perhaps this is because after completing his studies in industrial design he worked for a sporting goods company designing surfboards. He has been an independent designer since 1983, specializing in household items, flatware and tableware. His designs have enriched the mono program for the last fifteen years.
Tall and slender is the best way to describe this design whose most striking feature is the saber-like knife blade. The trend in modern plates is to make them larger, therefore this extra long flatware will hold its own, even on a 12" plate. Those who prefer standard sizes, can always choose the dessert set.
