POLYWOOD® Jefferson Rocking Chair
David from Clementon, NJ– Verified Buyer
I was urged almost immediately to write a review, but held off for about one month in order to have a period of time to evaluate the item properly. Let me start by saying I had purchased two Jefferson rocking chairs. With the help of my wife (it takes two to put them together) we did both in about 45 minutes. We were aided by the use of a power drill screw driver. All the parts fit perfectly. The chairs are built sturdy as a wooden chair except that the back of the chair feels a little what I describe as "mushy" as you rock. I don't feel as if it will break but time will tell. You can feel it giving back and forth as you rock.. So far I am very happy with the chairs. The rest of the chair seems indestructible. The only other negative thing I can talk about is the front of the seat could have been filed more smoothly. It is very irritating digging into the back of your bare leg. Perhaps they leave that way so you will purchase their cushions. Yes I would recommend the chairs to a friend.
POLYWOOD manufactures casual outdoor furniture that you will be proud to own – for a lifetime.
POLYWOOD is a high performance wood lumber substitute manufactured from high density plastic. It consists of high density polyethylene resins, and select coloring and foaming agents. POLYWOOD is processed into a specification product that closely resemble painted and natural wood products that absorb no moisture, making them resistant to rotting, warping, cracking or splintering. In addition, POLYWOOD is compounded with permanent UV stabilized colors that eliminate the need for painting and staining, waterproofing, or stripping and resurfacing.
POLYWOOD products are impervious to many common corrosive substances including salt water as well as gasoline and hydrocarbon oils.
