Like its name suggests, this smooth Area Rug oozes sweetness. Reminiscent of succulent cream and sweet ice creams, its undulating surface made from hand loomed felt gives a very appetizing, compact volume. In ecru, grey or red, it induces evocative sensations, the desire to touch it and look at it gluttonously. A piece that is undoubtedly for environments seeking serenity, delicious moments of gentle warmth, living rooms not only in which to live, but also to enjoy living.

These are some of the values that can be appreciated with a simple glance at this collection, where theMaterial wool is the clear protagonist. The secret is the technique used to make it: totally by hand. The superimposed spirals curl up around the boiled, felt wool without twisting, which makes it more compact. Once made, these are sewn one by one onto a cloth base with visible stitches..
About the Manufacturer
The history of nanimarquina is based on a very clear idea: wanting to design rugs. It’s a simple statement, a transparent declaration of intent that has become a reality by putting into practice values such as observation, innovative endeavour, communication, emotion and knowing how to contemporise traditional craftsmanship.
Since its origins in 1987, nanimarquina has been designing rugs and other textile products, paying particular attention to research on raw materials and production processes. These factors enrich the aesthetic aspect of their products, which are the true stars that give the brand its visibility and commercial success.
Today nanimarquina is one of the leading rug manufacturing firms, exporting 60% of its production. With the second generation now forming part of the management, the company continues to make, live and offer design. They continues to make the principle on which nanimarquina was founded a reality: to reinvent the rug, giving it new uses, new concepts and playing with elements such as shape, colour and texture.
