I bought two!

My two dogs were strong enough to knock down tension gates (or to just jump over them), so I bought two of these gates. The installation wasn't easy because we have high baseboards in both locations, and "Extending" isn't infinite--the bars in the front part of the gate must align with the bars in the back part of the gate. With the two parts aligned, the gap between the gate and the wall would have allowed my rascals to shimmy through, so my husband had to install wood strips along each side over the baseboard and attach the gate to the strips. Mounting the first took him about 4 hours!
