"Hello Teressa, MDF in this Modloft Ludlow Bed in White stands for medium-density fiberboard. MDF is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, often in a deliberator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. It is denser than plywood and is made up of separated fibers, (not wood veneers) but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. Piece of art

This bed is a statement! The leather is like silk and the wood is stunning. Be aware that the walnut looks lighter online than in person. The bed is large so if you are used to a kingcal king bed, be sure to account for the beautiful platform portions. Overall, we love it!

Question on side of bed

I really love this bed, I haven't purchased it yet. I'd like to hear from someone who owns the bed and could tell me if it's a pain having the wide sides. I sit on my bed all the time and I'd hate for that ledge to be a nuisance.

Beautiful but....

I have had this bed for over a year now. It has been tightened once and needs to be tightened again. Paid extra for professional assembly. Other than that, the bed is gorgeous.

Awesome. Modern. Statement piece.

This bed is absolutely gorgeous and to die for. The bed is durable and go high quality construction. It is a nice juxtaposition of modern and organic aesthetic. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone!

Great Bed, Great Buy

I was more than thrilled with this find and then when it arrived it exceeded my expectations. It looks beautiful in my bedroom. The assembly was easy. They had all pieces labeled so you did not need to guess in the directions. Very easy. I am very happy with this purchase and my overall first expereince with Modloft.

LOVE IT!

It is made to withstand anything. Great bed! verrrry heavy! I would definitely reccomend this to anyone. The wood and leather are great quality.

Love this bed!

This bed has lots of mojo! It was easy to assemble (less than an hour). The headboard is a bit unwieldy - if you have stairs make sure you have help!

Ludlow Bed in White by Modloft

Beautiful bed. The leather smell is strong, borderline to obnoxious. Not the usual pleasant new leather smell.
