Gregg Deal and his wife Megan are at it again with a new creative endeavor under the umbrella of their baby, Modern Bird Studios. When they found out they were expecting their first child back in 2005, they were beyond excited at the new changes that were coming to their life, including decorating their first nursery. Megan was loudly hoping for a little girl, and Gregg was secretly hoping for a human. They were ecstatic to find out they were going to have a daughter who they named Sage. During their quest for art to decorate Sage's nursery, they were disappointed in their available choices. Now they've decided to do something about it. Hello, ModTots by Modern Bird! For our square-shaped designs, prints come in one size, 5? x 5? on 8.5? x 11? paper; and for our rectangular-shaped designs, prints come in one size, 4? x 8? on 8.5? x 11? paper. Each image is signed and numbered and carefully packaged in a bend-proof mailer, anxiously awaiting it's arrival to your home. All you need to do is pick the background color and character! Killer design for cool kids. Boom.

Our monsters are deranged and noisy, but mostly scary cool. They drool, growl, and sing out of tune. They hide in dark and creepy places, and they emerge when little kids upset their parents. Each monster has a specific trigger, and when that trigger goes off, he or she will take care of business. Each ModTots design is created with a combination of digital, hand, and painting processes on an Oak composite. Each piece is handmade, one at a time, with love and consideration going into every one. They are available in various sizes, starting at 6" x 6", and the customizable background color is available in about 20 different choices.
