Melissa and Doug Rainbow Stacker

I got this for my grandson and love the bright colors and the fact that its made out of wood.

The size thing is my own fault, I guess. But in case you are tempted to gloss over the measurement listed, this toy is nowhere near as big as the classic plastic rainbow stacker I had in mind. The paint job is disappointing, too, for something I expected to be really high quality. The orange and yellow are not evenly painted and all the colors are chipped on the inside of the ring. However, my daughter (11 months) loves playing with the rings - banging them together mostly or pulling them off the stacker. It'll grow with her a little as she gets bigger and learns to put them ON the stacker.

My complaint is with the construction of the toy. The pole has already come out of the base...pulled out by a one year old. And the ball on top doesn't hold the rings on...so every time you pick up the toy...other than by the base...the whole thing comes apart. I do like the brights colors and the fact you don't have to put the rings on in any order.

The pieces were stuck together which made the paint chip off.

i am floored at the countless hours of entertainment this simple but well crafted toy has brought to my son. It is on my "mommy must have's"!

more durable than the plastic version and eco-friendly!!! what more can you ask for. My baby loves it.

A great little wood toy that is colorful and fun for a child to play with.
