Lifenest Sleeping System for Baby
waste of money

They should have made this item a full mattress size. If you have an active baby I would not recommend this item because my baby shimmied down and was lying in between the life nest and the space left between it and the crib! I even rolled up a blanket and put it under the end of the life nest so it wouldn't be on such an incline and that still didn't help. Personal opinion...flawed item.

My wife and I got the Lifenest in August as a gift from friends as our two previous children have a flat head. Not only is it safe, but it is also practical. You quickly get over the fear of your baby flipping over when you see that he can actually breathe through the mesh. Also, it's been a month since we started using it and...no flat head! Hopefully our little girl will keep her beautifully round head :)

I would give this stupid thing zero stars if I could. I also agree that it is very unsafe, and had a similar scary event happen to my baby! My 12 week old weighs 15 pounds (and does not roll over), and I found him face down at the bottom of the wedge one afternoon. I have never felt more scared in my life as when I looked down at same him stuck like that. LUCKILY, he was just fine and it happened during the day, and not at night. This is the scariest product I have ever seen, and cannot believe it is still on the market. It's a good idea, but the slow is WAAAY too steep.

What a great product! During the tummy time, my babygirl can breathe through the mesh.
I JUST LOVE IT!

"I just LOVE IT !!!! And most importantly, my little one too. A friend of mine told me about the LifeNest during my pregnancy, and she was very enthusiastic about it.
VERY unsafe!! Hate this thing!!

THIS is the worst product !! I ordered one for my 2 month old son after the doctor told me at his appointment that the one side of his head looked a little flat. I researched products to help with flat head syndrome, and looked for products that provided a safe sleeping system. The Lifenest appeared to be the solution! However, this "thing" is terrible!!! Total waste of money!! It's basically a giant , hard wedge for the crib! My son is only 11 lbs, 2 months old, and he barely fit on the "hammock." I can't believe they call it a "hammock" because my baby was not "cradled" at all on the mesh part, it is hard and felt very stiff under his weight. It is not like the video they show at all!! It was a giant slide for him basically. They seriously must have only tested this on dolls because the incline on this thing is really really high! I felt like I was putting my baby on a hill and just waiting for him to roll down it! All night long he slide down the Lifenest, and he would be resting then on the hard as a rock wedge part!! I had to keep re-adjusting him on the mesh part, andhe is only 2 months old and only really wiggles a little bit, can't roll over yet or anything!! At one point, I went to check him in the night after I heard faint wimpers from his room and he had literally flipped onto his face and had slid down the lifenest into the side bars of the crib! He is only 2 months old and can not even roll over, but sleeping on this thng made him flip over and slide into the crib bars!! Unreal!! I was in shock when this happened and ripped the "lifenest" out of his crib!! That was my last night to use it! I am getting my money back !! I feel totally stupid for buying this and spending as much as I did for a giant, unsafe, scary product that I wouldn't even let my dog sleep on after what my poor baby went through last night!! I am really lucky he didn't get badly hurt on this "slope of doom."
